Does anyone know the best place to get good running shoes at a decent price? I am not too brand loyal as I have had good ones in various brands. Thanks!
I don't know how hard-core you are about running, but I bought a pair of Nike running shoes last week at Marti (a sporting goods chain). They were originally over $900 pesos, but they were on sale for 40% off. I ended up paying around $550 pesos. I just wanted them for walking around town and, for me, that was a great price. Now that I think about it, since living in Cancun, I believe I've bought all of my sneakers at Marti.

Marti Sports are in all the malls, Marti Tennis and Marti Soccer specialty stores I have only seen at Paseo CAncun (though there may be others). As Susan said, grab a sale and you're good. I bought a pair of (fabulous!) sports sandals at Marti a couple of weeks ago for 650 pesos, found them online for exactly the same price in the states, first time in a long time I didn't feel ripped off buying something here at inflated prices.
