I was really hoping someone would have reviewed this resort!! My hubs & I are going there the first week of April & I'm ridiculously excited but it's such a new resort I'd like to see some more first hand info on it. And I just want to read more about it because I really can't wait to be there!!!
WAAAAAAAAY less wild! We were there Feb 2013. Great propoerty, but not a party place! Will only go back if we go with other couples where we can party together, or I no longer like to party! Don't see that happening....
I stayed at this hotel May 15th - 21st. It is the ultimate RIU hotel in Cancun. The food quality and selection was outstanding. The rooms were awesome and AC work great (way better than the RIU Cancun). It is right next door to the Caribe but you will need to take a bus or taxi to get to the RPLA and RIU Cancun. Since it's RIU's top hotel, you are allowed to hang-out at the other three. It is not a pure party hotel like the Cancun and there are more couple than singles. The swim-up bar is the most happening place, but otherwise it is very quiet. When me my friends needed a party atmosphere we would just go to the Caribe or take the bus to Cancun (around a 5 minute bus ride).
