My family and I are heading to Cancun in early April. We have been to Cancun (or Riv. Maya) 7 times in the past but it has been 4 or 5 years since our last visit. We have never stayed at the Royal Solaris and I am looking for your opinions of the property. Thanks.

Also, there is one restaurant out of the three the mentions that you cannot wear shorts or t-shirts to eat. Do they stick to that? If so, then I will have to throw a pair of slacks in my suitcase.

we have stayed at royal solaris the past 9 yrs and loved it. The staff is wonderful and if you eat at marco polo's you will need pants and closed toed shoes. But my husband wore jeans.

Thank you for the reply. Do you know if they are strict with the dress code for children? We are looking forward to our trip. We will throw in pants just to be safe.

I am not sure about children. Have not seen many in marco polo. We do not have young children.
