We are booked and paid through bookit.com for our trip that's IN 12 days and bookit tells us TODAY, "due to internal issue between bookit.com and Temptation Resort, we will need to have your party relocated to Secrets, the vine. I was told I could get my $$ back from bookit and book the trip myself but I can't get through on the phone. I've been reading they are booked solid. Ahhhhh!! Has anyone else had this happen?
We booked through BOOKIT.COM for a lot of trips and never had a problem. We leave Sunday for TTR booked through them and as far as we know everything is okay. Did they e-mail you the bad news ?
Yes, they emailed us today. We've used them several times in the past with no issues. Great service, in fact. I called them and they said its an internal issue but there was nothing they could do. I would check on your reservation with them ASAP.
there are a few desperate people trying to get into the resort on the FB pages. this really sucks for you ,, with today's technology there are no ''real' over bookings'' Should be able to sue there asses .
Secrets the Vine is very high class. If going there make sure Bookit upgrades you to the best room and get privileges to go Temptations also.
I've seen at least one post where a member had a last minute referral cancellation and was for April. Not sure if the dates will work for you to take that or other Referrals but worth a look. I think I saw it on the facebook referral page. worth having a look. Good luck
We used them last trip, everything was good. This time we choose orbitz due to better deal. Sorry to hear that, we have the same dates with you guys.
