We see a lot of people talking about getting good rooms. So our question is where are the good rooms? We leave in less than 2 weeks and want to make sure we try to get a good room.

I personally liked the 5000 building, but it is a bit of a walk to the other side of the resort. Not really that big of a deal in my opinion. Also stayed in the 1000s (around the quiet pool), and we liked that as well. These were both ocean view rooms, which is important to me.

But this is really a huge matter of opinion, because everyone likes something different. Some people love the 2000s (around PatyOs). It is super in the action zone, but it would be too loud for me during the rare occasions I am asleep(aka passed out).

A good suggestion is to look at the room they give you on the map first, and if you are still concerned, go check it out. If it isn't too your liking, they might try to work with your if there is availability.

We stayed in the 5000's last year. Good place to stay if you like some tranquility in the evening. I have been told that it is loud every evening around PatyO's as Steve said until 2 am or so. I prefer the short walk for some peace and quiet for a good nights sleep. We are going to look at our options when we get there tomorrow to try something new. You will have a great time regardless. The bottom line is you are a light sleeper, PatyO's is not likely the right choice.

We like the 2000's around PatyO's (yeah we're one of the weird couples that don't mind the noise)...that being said we try and get one of the rooms by PatyO's that still has an ocean view. Our last 2 trips we were lucky to get ocean view along with seeing the back-end of the sexy pool. Hoping to get something there again this time.

The last couple of times they gave us cards to 2-3 rooms and asked us to just pick which room we liked better.

We always go to the 1000´s building, it´s quite, a couple of minutes walking distance from the sexy pool and very near 3 restaurants (italian, asian and I don´t remember the other one) and the nice shoes disco is in that same area. (That disco closes early, so no noise when you want to go to sleep)

The first time we went to TTR they gave us a room in the 5000´s which we did´t like at all, it was pretty bad and I even called expedia o see if they could change us to another hotel cause that was the first impression we got from that room. Luckily TTR staff very politely exchanged our room to one much better in the 1000 area. That was 3 years ago so maybe the 5000 building has been renovated.

We're lovers of the 5000 block. Close to the sexy pool and reception, quick 2 mins overf the Paty'O and Sports Bar etc! Quiet in the evenings if you like to get your shut eye!

We have stayed in the 4000 block, the rooms were a lot bigger but the location over looking the main road and bus stop was a pain, the road noise kept going all through the night, motorbikes screaming past at all hour. We asked reception to move us for some peace and quiet, so we moved into 2000 first floor at Patyo's. We found it was very noisy until 2.30am, but we were always out at Patyo's until that time anyway. We will be asking for the same area again as it was ideal for changing into different outfits through the night!
