So guys , what part of the hotel is the best place to stay. Is it by the sexy pool area or the quiet pool area ? Or ? We always had ground floor in Cabo. Have not been to Cancun going end of Feb

Totally depends on what you're into. Some rooms are for the members (I believe). The rooms to avoid are those surrounding Paty Os because they are SOOOO loud every evening (no sound barriers at all). We like the rooms surrounding the quiet pool - it's a small resort so everything is still close by and the rooms are quiet enough to get some sleep when you need it ;)

We had a room directly above Patty o's last February..lets just say there is no sleep to be had if you are in those rooms. Lots of nights we pooped out early but it was literally too loud to sleep. Its a great location though, ear plugs would probably rectify that situation!

In April and Sept. we had rooms above Paty'o's, there was a couple of nights we crashed early and earplugs definitely helped. I love being close to the action and Ali likes the fact she can quickly change her outfit if she feels like it.

As with any vacation, if you're having trouble getting to sleep it just means you've not drunk enough :D

No elevators here so all of the ocean view rooms are on the 2nd and 3rd floors. Garden View is ground level.

A lot of your room"choice" depends on who you book with. Booking through the resort directly gets you the best rooms..........others like Orbitz, alpha, expedia buy blocks of "cheep" rooms at lower prices! So if you don't book through the resort, don't expect the best rooms available..........or have a decent tip ready for the chica at the front desk.......a "tip" of at least $100.................that's been our experience!
