When we were booking it only had one option through sunwing.. How much different is a regular room vs an ocean view room?
Regular rooms can overlook anything from some of the gardens to the street out front. Ocean View rooms have at least a tiny sliver of water showing but can have full frontal ocean views if you get lucky. If you want Ocean View room, ask to upgrade when you check in.
We were offered a quieter room when we checked in and accepted. We had a bit of an ocean view over by the docks. But seriously, you're not in your room enough to really matter.
You could try emailing the hotel directly ahead of time and requesting it. Depending on when you are going, you might have a good chance.
