This will be our second trip to TTR and I was wondering how to go about getting a room that faces the sexy pool? We were on the other side of the resort last year, away from all the action, and would also like an ocean view this year. Does the resort allow you to reserve specific rooms? :sunny:
Ive asked them the first 3 times i was there n never had any luck. they always say come see us b4 9am the next morning. But we never got one
How far of a walk is it from quiet pool to sexy pool? Trying to weigh the positive of being near the action versus the negative of noise when we fo try to sleep for a couple hours.
Oh maybe 1 minute or so. Its not that far. The last 2 years we've stayed by the quiet pool(which ive never been in, in 4 years), and its close enough u dont mind the walk
These rooms are primarily reserved for Premier members & RCI guests. IMO they are the best rooms- 1) close to the sexy pool:flash: 2) oceanview:daisy: 3) away from the nightly noise of Patios:musik001: 4) close to the beach & the dock for the cataraman trips:umbrella1: 5) big multi-person showers:3some: You would have to talk to some members about their memberships & see if they thought it was worth it. I know with changes that have been made, some members aren't happy with the program now & the weeks that they have may be available to rent from them at a cheap rate in order to recoup some of their investment:huh:
I agree Nt ... i have been a member for years now, I always love my room that i get, ground floor right in front of the sexy pool and right on the beach, however this year, I may use skoosh.com cause its soooo much cheaper then using that room, so im analyzing the pros vs cons in the next few weeks before booking...
We've booked the first 4 times with RCI and always had a sexy pool room in old Section D. Great rooms. This year we used skoosh.com through Steve's site and save about $750 for the week compared to RCI direct, I am curious where our room will be this time.
I am in the same situation as you then, Its hard to pass up the deal that skoosh has, though I hate giving up my room that Ive grown to love, i cant rationalize not taking the hundreds of dollar savings and just hope for the best room i can get....
We don't spend much time in the room anyway so no worries here. Just as long as we don't get a room overlooking the Blvd we'll be fine. I won't accept one of those rooms...
What's the Blvd and what's wrong with the rooms overlooking them? Just need to know in case we end up in one of them. Thanks.
