Me and my gf will be going for 7 nights to Temptation in Feb as a vacation of our dreams. This is our first luxury vacation and we are pumped about it. We want to get a deal on the room, we have the very minimum basic room but plan to argue/hussle for a much better room when we get there. My gf came up with a story we will use as a bargaining chip to get a better room, but where ? We want lower floor so we dont walk the stairs, and we dont want it near noise. We want a balcony, ocean view full view but at a cost of a regular room. We want the best for less. What section of the hotel offers quiet, nice view, large rooms and bathrooms? Where should we ask for the upgrade to be? Any help is appreciated, thank you.
We are already shelling out top dollar $700 USD to me is a ton of money for a luxury vacation. Most of my friends in their mid 20s are envious and jealous. Not sure where you live but to many of us a vacation of this type is a huge luxury and I for one am proud to go on one especially bringing a gf. I saved up the year for this and was smart to combine air miles, and gift certificates and 3 credit card promotions to accumulate hotel + fly points. This is why I feel I got the most for less, stretched further than most people can imagine and now I just want to maximize my stay in the resort. Hard to blame a person like me for being a visionary, I basically believe in building wealth and saving money, and getting deals and pushing the dollar far. That is how you make it big in this world, and so far I am feeling good. Just want to know, where is the best room/section?
when you book , you pay for the Category you want , that is what you get unless you upgrage at the desk when you check in.
When I upgrade at the front desk, do I slip them a $20 and get a free upgrade? If I want to upgrade, where is the quiet side of the resort? In the quiet side, is there better/worse rooms? Rooms on the lower floor are better? What should I ask for if i want a upgrade?
If you request a room by Patty O you will get it. They are super luxurious and have a really nice big shower and are quiet.
I would start a new thread and hope the two resident smart a$$'s find something else to do with their time. Why they feel the need to ridicule and make stupid non helping comments is beyond me. I would suggest a jacuzzi suite, because it will get you ground floor.
I'm not gonna be a jerk or a smart ass to you, because you seem nice enough, and like your trying to not panic. The thing is, for a trip that's what you're talking about,$700 for it would be a miracle at Temptation! Most people that get what you're wanting are gonna probably pay close to24-2700 US$ if not higher. Also, you talked about how you save money.. Go this time and see if you and your lady even like the vibe at Temptation, if you do, save up and become a premier member..I guess I'm saying, enjoy what The Good Lord has given you. Like was mentioned above, you're not going to be in your room much anyway bro! But I do wish you the best of luck and safe travels.
