Wondered if anyone knew if you can upgrade your room from Deluxe Garden/Ocean View to a Jacuzzi Room or Temptation Suite with reception when you arrive in the resort and how much it would cost?

A couple weeks ago, we were offered the jacuzzi room for an extra 50 bucks a night. It was half price, but we liked the location we were at, and wouldn't be able to move til the second day.

    Room Upgrade

We have found that it is really not worth it. If you stay in your room, then OK. We found that we were only in the room to shower, change and sleep. They are nice but not worth the money, IMHO!

Thanks guys, no we def won't b spending much time in the room, b2 busy drinking & having fun by the pool
So maybe its not worth the upgrade, even if it is only $50 a night.

    Jacuzzi Room

Had room 1133 with tub on the balcony. We were there Oct 17-24. This room was next to the quiet pool between the Italian Rest and the sea food joint. We had the drops of love package and it was worth it.

It is not a hot tub, it is a bath tub which you fill before you use it. We filled ours with hot water only (there is a hot and cold faucet on the tubs)
It took about 20 minutes or so to fill it. To me it is better than a hot tub because you get fresh water all the time then dump it, the maid cleans it every morning. Better to use fresh water everyday instead of wondering if the chemicals are right and wondering who or what was in the water before you. There are about 10 jets in it so it is a nice tub.

Some folks say you are never in your room, but most folks probably do end up at their room, we used the tub 5 of the 7 nights there. These rooms are first floor and have a privacy screen to cover your patio so you can have some fun out there. Our package included dinner on the beach which we did on Friday 10/23 the day before leaving, it was very nice. We bought our hotel package 6 months or so ahead of time and got a great deal on the drops of love. I would say if you can book the room for less than $50 a night like we did, it is worth upgrading and we wil again next year.

If we did upgrade we would probably just have the jacuzzi room, not the drops of love package, depending on the difference of course. Yes I did hear that it took quite a while to run, I guess we will c what kind of room we r in first off when we get there.

for whatever reason they tried to strong arm us. we were told $150 a night EXTRA. I told them that was more than what we paid (Apple Vacations ) for the trip. And while @ desk one day, I heard them tell another couple $ 600 extra for the week..... Guess its WHO n HOW you ask

I've never booked a jacuzzi room but they put me in one on my first trip. I never even noticed the jacuzzi til the next morning! I did use it a few times and it takes a while to fill...not hours though. If you are not booking the drops of love package and want the jacuzzi room, I'd bring some nice bubble bath/oils for the tub since they don't(or didn't) provide any.
