hi everyone, newbies here. we are getting ready to make our reservations and we are wondering about room types. typically we always get oceanview rooms everywhere we go, but we are hearing that the views at Temptations are not worth the extra money. also what about the jacuzzi rooms, are they worth the extra. we are told we want a room over the quiet pool as everyone needs to sleep at somepoint and the sexy pool area never settles down. what is everyones thoughts on this? thank you craig & jamie
We enjoy the jacuzzi rooms. Not becuase of the quiet, but because we actually use the jacuzzi. We have friends that prefer to be close to Paty-O's and they sleep just fine. You will sleep if you are tired. Ocean view rooms still have a beautiful view. It just might not be the best ocean view, and you can see what is going on in the sexy pool :icon_wink:. It mostly depends on your personality type. If you require very quiet time to rest, then you need a room on the quiet side of the resort.
Its our first trip next month and we spent the extra and booked a jaccuzi room to ensure we are in a quiet area. Not sure if the loudest room would be too loud for us and most likely we could be closing down the bar each night anyways. We also plan on hopefully meeting a few people and possibly looking at rooms in different areas to find out if there is any spot that we really want to avoid. So, hopefully we will find out that every room is fine for us and we can just book the cheapest rate next time. We just wanted to be safe for our first trip so we dont have to worry.
Ok, we just returned and had two different rooms. 5334 was in the quiet section. It was a beautiful room on the third floor. It was also about As far away from the action as you could get. The view pretty much sucked also, but it was quiet. We then moved to 1123, which was a jacuzzi room. We were 10' from nice shoes, and you needed earplugs to sleep. One of the problems with the resort is that it is all stone and marble. Looks great, but sound resonates like you wouldn't believe. One night some person came past the sports bar, cell over the easel they had there to make announcements on, and it sounded like he was in our room. Also, jacuzzi rooms have no storage at all, and the showers are very small. Yes we will book a jacuzzi room again, but get one that's on the other side of the Italian restaurant, nearer to the quiet pool. Then you shouldn't have the carts they use to transport product to the bars going down the halls at 1 am sounding like a train going by. Ocean view rooms are not worth the money
Mama was tired of walking up and down stairs in heels. Lol. We just decided that a jacuzzi room would be fun, and we used it a lot.
