    Hello,
    Have anyone has any pictures of the trendy garden view? We picked it cause this is our first time so we don't want to waste any money. Would you guys recommend other rooms if you have stayed at TTR before? Thank in advance

    I would recommend any room, however the Penthouse is the best !!

    The garden view is fine, if on a budget and in terms of noise level.

    Thanks for the tip. We booked on Expedia so not many options available. Just Trendy Garden or Ocean view. And Penthouse. We would like the Tower rooms as well. Is there any tips to get room upgrade when we check in?
    PS> Can I get a confirm that all rooms has balcony including trendy room? Thanks

    We booked Ocean View and asked for a lower floor so our money will be wasted because of the Palm trees :(

    I read about it too. Lots of people said they don't get the full ocean view, juts partial. And the view is not even great. So I didnt go for it.

    Actually when you are one the first floor the palm trees woudn't block your view, because the trunks are thin. It's when you get higher, that depending on the tree and your location, the foliage of tree might block your view.

    Also note that, if you are saying "you asked" for a lower floor room, that's means nothing on any pre check-in, email, or notes you added. You need to tell them face to face when checking in. And if it is about a lower floor, tell them it's for medical reasons.

    In my opinion, outside of the tower and keeping in mind a budget, booking a Jacuzzi room is the safest way to insure you have a great room. These are around the quiet pool on the first floor. If not that, then I suggest just booking a garden view and keeping your fingers crossed. Especially if it's your first trip. When people say "you are hardly in your room" they really do mean it and it's so true at this resort. I just booked my 6th or 7th trip, I am a member, and I still went with the garden view. Some are better than others and you're just rolling the dice at a price point that makes sense. Unless you're loaded, then book a suite.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    On a side note, if you do have the “foliage” view, at least you can see the wildlife: monkeys gathering coconuts.
    Do you still have that altitude sickness from climbing Mount Elyse ??
    Hahahahhaa. I work out with one of them exercise respirators on, in an attempt to train for the challenge.
    Keep in mind that "Garden View" can kinda be BS, depending on where they stick you. Unless I somehow missed a garden in the middle of the highway out front, we definitely didn't view of any gardens in September.
