There have been a few reports but when you filter out the ones that forgot to close there safes ( me,,lol) the # gets low.

There was a thread a while ago claiming that any safe could be opened with 0000# ,,, no one has reported back on that .

We tried the 0000 thing when we were there a couple of weeks ago. Doesn't work. We got an error code every time. We used the safe with no problems.

Never had a real problem. The battery died once and they had to crack it open, and I may or may not have had too much to drink once and forgot the combination and they had to crack it open.

Have used the safe everytime there... no problems at all. The safe is small but our Samsung droid pad fits fine. Larger electronic devices will be an issue... And don't panic if you forget your passcode (4 numbers)- security can override and open it up (or so I've heard...)
