Anybody know why you have to REQUEST, a king bed? They told me its a request and not guarented? I've been to Hedo and didnt have to request that? As a first timer to the resort; I actually called the resort from home on my dime and they told me its not guranted? That seems alittle funny to me? Anybody know if our chances are good on getting a king bed. We will be out their May 29th to June 5th. My lady and i aren't going to be to happy if the first time at the resort we got twin beds. We will make due (if you know what i mean) but not going to be happy! Also are the rooms non-smoking, and do the air-conditioners work well? I can't sleep if I am too hot, and smell smoke. Help
All of the rooms are either one King or two Double Beds..so you are not going to get twin beds. I've always requested the King but I've always gone as a single and they try to put me in a room with double beds. Just ask at check-in if it is a King. If the room isn't, ask for a different room. And all of the rooms are non-smoking now. Which means everyone smokes on the balconies, so keep your doors shut or it may drift in. Also bring a couple candles, just in case. As for the a/c, sometimes it works well, sometimes not. While I'm not sure if this is true, it has seemed that the 3rd. floor rooms stay hotter and the lst. floor rooms seem humid, so you may want a 2nd. floor one. Just a thought. But I think they are doing better with the a/c maintainance as last year, all 3 trips had great a/c. The previous year, only 1 out of 4 did.
Hope we get the requested kingsize ......never had a double bed since I was single that was over 26 years ago lol
When you check in, you can ask for a room with a King Sized bed... if they don't have one the day you check in, you can see what day the next one is available and change rooms...
Thats the same way i am thinking, i havent had a double bed since i was a child and i dont want to start as an adult.
I actually had to wake up in the middle of the night/morning last week down there, cuz what I thought was a hangover, was actually a brain freeze, My AC was definately working...
We perfer a king bed but don't mind to dbl beds. We usually play in one bed the switch to the other bed to sleep. Then no one has to sleep in the wet spot, lmbo.
We ended up with two doubles this trip. Not the end of the world but we did find them harder than the King we had last year. We could have had a King but preferred the room location of the doubles. We went to Walmart and bought a foam "egg crate" that helped although it wasn't very thick. When we arrived back at the resort the guys out front told us that house keeping had them and that all we had to do was call to have them sent to our room.
