    Hey guys,

I was wondering what type of radios are in the room. Are they just alarm clocks? Do they have iPod hook ups? I wasn't going to bring my iphone to Mexico at all, if there is an iPod hook up maybe I will. CD players or DVD player on TV?

Just wondering beforehand what I should bring, or buy down there. I have read about some people going to a WalMart, I could see buying a cheap boom box for the week down there.

Are they strict on noise down there? I am not planning on staying in my room listening to music everyday. However getting ready having beats on is always important. And, there may be some nights I have some guests and want to play some music.

    Thanks for all the info.

    J

I agree 100% on the music is a must in the room. I brought my Bose sound system and a laptop with all my music down last year and it was great, not to mention people stopping by just to hang on the balcony, have a drink and b.s. With that being said I don't recall any decent stereo in the room. I think there was an iPod deck, but nada for sound.

Also, the Bose system was loud and security never said a thing about the volume level..

We were there Feb. 19th. I read on this site to bring your own alarm clock because some rooms dont have them. We did not have one in our room in the 12000's, so I was glad I grabbed on at Target for $10. Most other guests said they had one.

Our room was in the 5000s, and just a basic room; the radio is your $5 Walmart job--bad speakers, no ipod hookup. We take speakers and play music off our ipod, and it's a must, especially for parties in the room with friends!!

We take an ipod dock for music. I don't ever recall seeing an alarm clock in our room...music is definitely a must.

if you get the Drops of love Package you get a Ipod dock, I just put the tv on the weather channel i think it was , they had decent background music then hang your bathing suit over the tv, nice and dry by morning.

There is a built in radio on the TV, just tune it to channel 12, crank it up, and rock out:aktion031:

Thanks for all the input guys. I will deff note to bring something for tunes if it fits in the bag, or just buy a boombox while down there and leave it as part of the tip for room service.

    With some $2 bills.
