-Garden view could be anywhere, usually further from the beach itself
-Ocean view have a view of the ocean - some have a small side view of the ocean, but I have had ones with a full great view (5000 block)
-Jacuzzi rooms are ground floor around the quiet pool and have a Jacuzzi on the deck (I had one that had a view of the ocean and the pool. Very close to the quiet pool bar and I could just hop over the wall for refills)
-Temptation suites are bigger and I believe have a Jacuzzi tub in the bathroom, and they have a seating area in the room besides the bed. They are also ocean facing, closest to the sand, and on the sports and quiet pool side (I believe, I have never been in one of these. I guess I hang with no fancy people WTF you bums!)

I have booked ocean view for each of my trips to ensure I had a room in a spot I like. They are very accommodating to move you if you are unhappy with the room they give you...that is if you are nice and there is availability. It seems like to me that they always try to give you a not-so-great room at first to see if you will take it. I nicely said "no this isn't what I paid extra for", and they just said ok and gave us better options. It has also been suggested that it is best to just book the basic garden room, then pay to upgrade once you are there by negotiating. This is what I would do in the future, unless I know it will be very busy time of the year. (if it is sold out, then there wouldn't be much you could do). If it is a busy time, and you want to have a little bit more power when selecting your room, then IMO it would be smart to book an ocean room.

Now, there is a completely different school of thought that I also understand. And that is to just book the cheapest room, because you are never in the room anyway so who cares. Makes perfect sense if you know your own vacation habits. I personally like to sit on the balcony in the morning, or before the hard drinking of the day begins, listening to music. This is my personal meditation time. But my wife like to say that I am just sitting there trying to think we’re I can find my brain cells from the previous day. Having an ocean view helps me in this meditation process. If you see me at breakfast, and I haven’t had time to do this yet, I am pretty much mush brain, and you will be very confused that I am not acting like the Steve the day before. I guess it just takes me some time to regenerate like a borg.

Now if you are booking through alpha rooms, it can get a bit confusing. There are like 9 choices and various prices. I asked what was up with this before, and Steve said to just book the lowest price in one of the 4 categories that you are looking for.

No problem at all. Feel free to ask me any question you would like. All here to help! I would rather talk to people about vacation then work.

We have stayed in ocean view rooms, Jacuzzi rooms, and garden view rooms. And after all that, we really don't care what room we end up in. The beds are all comfortable, and the TV has all the channels, and sure, the Jacuzzi is nice, but really, it's all about the Sexy pool and Paty'Os.
