Does anyone have any pictures of the larger rooms, mainly the suites? Debating about upgrading ... I think they surround Paty'o's Thanks!

There are two different kinds of suites. There is the jacuzzi suits that surround the quiet pool. The link Flamon provided is great. Anybody can pay a few extra bucks to get these (negotiate a little with the front desk). The rooms are pretty much the same, you just get a jacuzzi on the balcony. There are also a few members only suites. They will show you these rooms if you get stuck on the tour, but they are near impossible to get (I'm guessing you have to be a platinum member $$$). I think they have 4-5 of these rooms total and they don't surround patio's.
Booked Ocean view this time it wasn't much more then last year but with any luck the bed won't be a rock this time !!
No luck! We had the Temptation suite last year and it had a small couch was the biggest difference. A bigger bathroom with a jacuzzi inside and a great balcony on the beach.
I ended up in a room surrounding patios for about an hour or so and it seemed huge and I think it even had 2 beds or at least a seperate sleeping area. Can't remember clearly though ... go figure
Met a couple last trip who got put in the honeymoon suite, apparently room very nice, huge, view of the beach, but right above Paty O and they couldn't stand the noise so asked to be moved after a day or two.
we have been in just about all the rooms. the only ones that would be considered real suites are the one that are on the end of the building surronding the quiet pool. they are right on the end facing the ocean and had a sitting area with a couch and table also have a small partial kitchen (to satisfy the RCI timeshare members that were grandfathered in when BBG bought plaza las glorias( the area around the quiet pool was a whole diff resort) they are are larger and have a large jacuzzi tub with a window. BUT after the first time we have turned them down when they tried to give them to us beacuse they use (at least at the time) the same sixe AC unit and we had to go to buy fans at walmart due to the room size and that they faced the afternoon sun (large slinding glass door) and they never seemed to cool down. they also have a few rooms that count as a one bedroom suite (RCI discription it has to have a lockable door between the sleeping and living area) which at TTR were basically two rooms with an internal door. one room had a queen bed with a partial kitchen (sink, hot plate, microwave, and fridge along with a cabinet with dishes and utensils) the other room had two smaller beds. both had an outside door. sometimes they gave those to seperate people and it was kinda odd because the interior door was a cheap hollow door that had a one inch space at the bottom and you could hear every sound. :musik001: i know for a fact that most of these were lost in the remodel.most of these were located where the jacuzzi suites are now If you are wondering how i know all this is that i purchased a resale timeshare back in 2000 that was from the previous hotel that they honored until it expired, so i was one of the original "timeshare owners" of Blue bay getaway when they opened it. at that time they used set weeks and we had weeks 19 & 20 every year. hope this helps Frank
