Hi, My GF and I were looking at going DEC 3-7, but she can't climb stairs due to surgery. Temptations said we could request a 1st floor room, but I don't know if I trust them. Are there any room you would suggest that are only on the 1st floor? Also how's the resort in early December? Thanks,
I don't have much to add other then there are a lot of ramps in addition to the stairs. We were 2nd floor but if we took a certain route to our last room we didn't have to climb any stairs. Also, 3 out of the 4 entrances into Patyos requires at least a couple stairs.
TTR has been accommodating to room requests in the past when there is a health concern. In June there was a couple that stairs were not an option, and they were given a first floor room.
We have stayed on the first floor and it's fine, But I'm not completely sure what you mean by "trust them":sofa:
You could book a Jacuzzi room and be guaranteed a first floor room. They are all around the quiet pool. But, from what I have heard and seen, Temptation is definitely accommodating and if at first they give you a second or third floor room, they should switch you happily if you explain to them your situation
Every year I walk into the front desk at arrival and request a ground floor room. My knees hate stairs and they always are able to accommodate. A little tip grease helps move things along also. I have used the early check-in on the TTR website, I don't think they even look at it. Just ask and see if they have one available if not, a tip may be in order. Jeff
They pretty much accommodate your requirement. Just be careful floors are wet most time, and they get slippery. Also in rooms too, floor gets slippery so walk carefully or spread few towel. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
