We have read that the rooms have fridges, mini-bars, and safes. But, do they have things like irons, blow dryers, etc? It would be nice to dress sexy in clothes that don't look like they came out of a suitcase.

Are the blow dryers any good or the basic travel size?

The blow drier is not full size but they work pretty well.
The mini bar is simply a few beers in the fridge.:icon_lol:

The blow dryers the resort provides are not good -

We bring a professional travel size with us. Word of caution, if you use two blow dryers at once you will blow a circuit and cause a blackout in your wing.

We are, brought our friend with us last trip and as both of the ladies were drying their hair - poof!

    Lights Out!

They had the lights back on in about 20 minutes which caused us to be late to dinner.

Not all rooms have a clock!!!
we discovered this the hard way. Makes it SUCK when you don't want to wear a watch or use your phone while in Mexico.

Lots of rooms have clocks that regular TTRer's have left behind. We called the front desk for a clock and were told they don't have any to give out. We lucked out when we moved rooms b/c our second room had an old junky alarm clock a regular had left us. Bring your own unless you want to use your phone as one (airplane mode so no roaming charges).

I was shocked that no one on the board had mentioned a lack of clocks lol!
And yes, the blow dryer is no bueno.
