So I mentioned the damp-rid bags helped, but also read folks spraying Lysol in the AC units also help, but to go a step further I'm looking to bring my own filter and wipe that puppy clean. I don't want to depend on the TTR maintenance guys. Are all the units pretty much the same; is there a make model anyone knows of? Has anyone tried that? Am I crazy? :aetsch004:
that's it. Return, unit, & exhaust all in the same pic. I'm not much more help than that though. I have bad allergies & haven't had any issues any of the times we've stayed here. It's humid everywhere, but you're on the beach & that's to be expected. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
I lysoled the whole room including the vents, took probotics and meds and still got sick towards the end. I think it maybe the breast/body shots did it!!! I saw a few people coughing near the end of our trip, its the luck of the draw I guess, and I have no luck lol.
Thanks! Our room when we were there had one of the window looking units in the wall. So its hit and miss, will just deal with it. http://i.imgur.com/rOBuzbo.gif
Ya other resorts I can Lysol/bleach the ac's but not here. I know I run my immunity down with lack of sleep and partying wicked hahd. But I do it every year. Even my boss knows when I go away to Cancun I'm coming home sick. Hahaha.
My doctor says it was probably a bad Virus and nothing to do with the AC. Lasted about 2 weeks and lingered for 2 more. Nothing you can do but build up your immune system. Lysol is still a good idea. the filter may be a washable metal one
I guess one could tape bounce sheets or something over the intake/outtake of the a/c unit if they were so inclined. or just drink like a fish and hope that the booze kills whatever bug is present lol
