Roger Clemens Congressional Hearing Discussion

So who, besides me sat around the tv or radio for the majority of the day? What do you all think about it? Here's my take: Clearly someone is lying here, its a matter of who. I was back and forth the entire time about whats true and whats not. McNamee had some good info, BUT he also had about 20 different times he lied under oath, so that threw me off. The whole story about Pettite misunderstanding Clemens HGH story was dragged out way too far, and the Canseco story just didnt seem to fit in the hearing too much. I am still on the fence, but for the sake of baseball and Clemens good name, I hope hes found innocent.

 

Either way, his name has been dragged through the mud now. If he is innocent he will be the Roger Clemens that was involved in the steroids scandal. If he is guilty he will be the Roger Clemens that was involved in the steroids scandal. Kind of a no win for him.

 

i like how the dude was saying that he was told to inject clemens' wife with steroids on several occasions as well

 

i understand that, but its like he said....."how do i get my good name back" Im not sure if he ever will

 

The nanny thing didn't go too good for Roger. He should have talked to her sooner

 

I hate the yankees...........but I am a baseball fan!! I hate to see Roger in this kind of a situation, but................ "you sleep in the bed you make" and it sure seems roger is guilty of something............. exactly what may never be known. But, he is guilty in my eyes unfortunately.

 

After hearing more about it and thinking about it.... I feel that Roger is full of shit.

Nearly everyone else named by McNamee is copping to it more or less to try to do some damage control. Even Roger's wife. But somehow we are supposed to believe that Roger is the only one that McNamee is lying about? I think Roger is so full of it that he is actually starting to believe it himself.

 

I tend to agree with your way of thinking.

 

i guess well find out in the years to come.....remember it took Bonds 2 years after his hearing to finally get indicted

 

besides the fact that I think Clemens is and always will be a redsox at heart and that he is a greedy piece of crap, I also think he is a lying piece of crap as well.

I think he did use and hes doing anything he can right now to try and cover it.

I never wanted him in NY. like I said, he is a redsox.
