theft i had friends that were had stayed there they went to a show one nite came back to there room to find the safe ripper of the wall!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes lost everything passports ,cash,phones,id, you name it fought with the hotel for over a year to get compensation. Just saying glenn
Don't worry, thousands of people stay there each year without a problem and have an incredible time, don't let the scaremongers ruin your holiday!
Incidents like that are far and few between. Been to Riu Caribe and Riu Cancun 8 or 9 times and never had or even talked to anyone that had that type of problem. I'm sure sh#t like that can happen anywhere but I wouldn't sweat it.
