RIU Cancun is THE PLACE to be during Spring Break!! They know how to party without having everything trashed! It is an upscale place but still really fun. A group of six of us will be there March 20th-28th!! 2 couples and 2 single guys. Ages 24-27. RIU Cancun is amazing! We are going for our 4th time there. Have you been before either to Cancun or spring break in Cancun?
Sounds gooood mate, yea I've been before but not during sb and before I was 18! Now I'm 23 me and my 5 mates looking to party hard. Is there still younger ppl at the resort 18-25? On plus side I like the fact that hotel quality is constantly being praised coz I do love my bed lol
We have been there many times and we love it! It is the perfect blend of a nice resort and a great party scene. You can easily walk from the clubs. RIU Cancun's "Entertainment Staff" will get in to the clubs every night with bottle service! There is a good mix of younger people there. There are a couple families there too. We love to party every night and then relax and chill at the beach or pool in the daytime. Where are you from?
Staying at the Riu Palace the 17th-24th with a couple friends. I hear you can use all Riu facilities. Is that true? Does anyone know how Riu Palace is?
The Palace is AWESOME. We stayed there last year for Spring Break! RIU Cancun is more of a party resort. So I am sure you will end up over there most of the time. You can just walk next door. This will be our 4th time at RIU. The Palace is more the older crowd but very slightly nicer. They both have similar food and drinks. There is a bigger selection of bars and food at RIU Cancun.
I stayed at the grand oasis viva beach last year and loved the location so I wanted to stay around there but go to a nicer hotel. Sounds like ill be spending my days at the riu cancun for the partying
RIU Cancun is pretty much right next door to the coolest clubs in Cancun. You can ride with RC or RPLA to the clubs if yiou want. RC is mostly a younger crowd.
I must have gone on a bum year to RIU Cancun because when i went in '08 it was faaar from a "party resort". we found mostly families and older couples
