    A friend of many, Roy Anthony, passed away this week.

    He was a wonderful man, always smiling and with kind words for everyone.

    He will be missed.

    I know he spent a lot of time in Cancun, was he here when he died? What were the circumstances?

    Did I know him, the name's not familiar?

    Kind of feel I know all the expats but I'm sure that's not the case.

    Roy was a large, affable black man, in his mid sixties probably, from the US.

    Although I spent several hours with him on two different occasions, with just one other person present, I can't say I knew anything much more than that about him.

    He wasn't very forthcoming with personal details.

    Others, such as T.J., may have known him better.

    No, didn't know the guy but sad news to hear of anyone dying.
