I would agree with much of what's been posted. And I recommend people go and take a look for themselves. The beach is beautiful. The service was good. The food was fine, there was plenty of it at all times of day. The restaurants/buffet have more character than the old Embarcaderio and Margaritas. The lobby was nice. The room was really nice (had a clock ;-) )and had upgraded amenities. The infinity pool was nice. It's much closer to the airport. Plenty of alcohol from morning until 2 am served in nicer glasses than at the old TTR. I ate at the "Black Hole" restaurant and it was an amazing, near once in a lifetime experience that I highly recommend. (It was included for all guests, you just need to make a reservation.) A 24 course meal served in a nearly black restaurant with dim black lighting and glow in the dark entertainment in the background. (I imagine the waitstaff must have worn night vision goggles.) I wasn't stuffed though because each course was only a bite or two and some of the courses were drinks... I met another couple who ate at another restaurant (also included) that was a 27 course meal and they said it was the best they ever had. Yes it's topless optional. They had a fire show in the pool. It did lack TTR's vibe but of course everywhere else does, TTR was one of a kind. It needs more fun people and I'm sure it can/will get them if the haters (some of whom haven't even been there) quit nay-saying it. It would be MY first choice to replace TTR, because I prefer topless optional over clothing optional and it's cheaper than Breathless. SPICY will be back to check out the new TTR the last week of September, I can afford it as a referral during the soft opening...
