Ok, maybe I'm insane asking this but after checking Temptation's website for restaurants I came across description of dress code for all of them "no shorts, no t-shirts and no sandals". Is this strictly enforced in such liberal, fun resort?
I don't fancy packing full shoes and wearing them every night for meals and I just see how happy my hubby is going to be about that.
We dress casual smart but full shoes are really pain. And what's wrong with nice tshirt or pair of shorts that aren't surf boardies?

I wore flip flops all week last week... Ate at Asian once, and Italian twice, all wearing shorts and flip flops, typically with a nice button down shirt.

Didn't notice the no sandals part of the dress code.

I was there Labor Day weekend and they didn't enforce the dress code. I had dinner in the Itailian resturant and I had on a polo shirt, kaki shorts and white NIKE tennis shoes and nothing was said. I also had dinner at Village Wok and I wore a linen outfit with brown thong flip flops and nothing was said. I also had dinner at the other the other reservations resturant and wore slacks and flip flops with polo shirt nothing was said.

As long as you look good up top I don't think the feet part will be an issue.

I noticed that a guy in a tank top was asked to leave. Other than that I saw just about everything else.

Yes, I know, I forgot it was dinner time. You need sleeves for dinner, but at lunch, you don't need sleeves.

Here's the catch though...enforcement is really really inconsistent. All those who say they wore shorts and flip flops without a problem are telling the truth. I've also seen several turned away at the door, leaving their friends to stand around and wait for the guy who wouldn't wear shoes to run back to the room to change. You'll just have to decide for yourself what the bigger hastle is - pants and shoes or a trip back to the room.

They have a casual place to eat and then they have the nicer reservation venues. For me, it just makes sense to follow the rules on this one.
