looking for some friends to reserve some restaurants for us. We are there from Dec 13-27, so if someone is there the week before, maybe PM me and would be good to get some reservations ahead of time. And if anyone is there the week after (NYE week) I'd be happy to reserve for them as well.
I was there in September and we had to make reservations ..but they can fit you in if you offer a tip.. also its not as busy at the resort this time a year as in the spring.. and if you dont mind having dinner at 5 or 6pm.. then its pretty easy..
Not sure if I remember correctly but when you make reservations don't you have to give your name and room number... Not sure about you all but I've never found out my room number until I get there. So I'm not sure how one would go about making reservations for someone else other than using your own name and room number... which then would you be able to make other reservations on the same day somewhere else for yourself... anybody know about this !!!
yes you have to give your room number.. but .. We always make reservations for 4 or 6 people to join us.. then we find someone that just arrived or wasnt able to make reservations, to join us for dinner.. its a great way to meet .. even if we dont have 4 people we just tell them its only for 2 .they dont seem to mind.. as then they have avalability for walkins.. .
This sounds like an excellent idea to meet new people! I'm totally ripping it off during our trip next month. :xyxthumbs:
yes yes i have done this for last few visits, I book a table and any singles are welcome to join in xxx,.. but they got a little upset when 13 turned up for my table one night xxxx:icon_eek: but they still fitted us in we had a ball outside the italian restaurant.. cant remember much after the crate of red wine we consumed lol..artytime:
My last visit was in June and never had a problem getting the times we wanted. Next trip is in January...hopefully the same is true this time.
We are leaving the 12th so I could make reservations for the 13th and 14th for you with my room number and leave them for you with someone. Let me know what retaurant you want and about what time.
