i know ive seen people ask about this but just making sure. we have heard that some of the restaurants do require a certain dress code. any help would be appreciated. thanks robert and connie.
We just got back, ate at every restaurant there, never put on more than a button up shirt and nice shorts with sandals.
Sometimes they do require guys to wear pants and closed toe shoes for the restaurants with reservations. I guess it depends on who's working and time of the year. I would make sure you at least bring pants and closed toe shoes to be safe. Any kind of button up or collared shirt will work.
I always enjoy dressing up for dinner. So I just wear a nice shirt and sports coat. But still only wear jeans and dress shoes.
The Oriental Restaurant was turning those in shorts and sandals away on my last trip. It seems like it would be less of a hassle to just follow the dress code, rather than having to trek back to the room to change.
I have been turned away for shorts before. Best to pack 1 pair of slacks and collared shirt. better safe than sorry.
I always bring linen pants but have yet to bring closed toe shoes and never had a problem. I've heard that people have been turned away in t-shirts and shorts but I think your fine with a decent shirt. After all it is a vacation.
