For the nicer restaurants are we allowed to wear nice jeans or slacks only? For the woman at night are they allowed to have their nipples showing with their costumes....?
Yes, you are allowed to wear a nice pair of jeans to dinner. Personally, I wear a fancy pair of shorts to the reservation restaurants, I do not pack long pants while on vacation in Cancun. Women are allowed to show their nipples at night to a certain extent. For the shows at Nice Shoes, you will be able to show full nipple. For the after party at Paty'O, you will more than likely need to have the nipple barely covered (sheer, lace, paint).
Thanks I will go for nice shorts as well as heat and pants sucks and my wife says I lot hotter in nice shorts
resort rules, off their website ''Dress code: no shorts, no t-shirts and no sandals'' They seem to be ''slacking'' off that
It's been posted on here before and I myself do this when I escort my lady to the reservation restaurants, and that's linen pants. I have two pair one brown, one white and I pack a couple of shirts to go with, the linen pants are thin and really comfortable. I know that dress shorts are being accepted as the hotel may be relaxing it's policy which is a far cry from our first trip. I was totally shocked the last time we were there when a couple of young guys who were with a couple of young ladies dressed to the nines tried to get into the Italian restaurant in board shorts and t-shirts. Like the girls spent a lot of effort to look good and these guys looked like they just tossed a shirt on after getting out of the pool. Hope this isn't a trend that's catching on. I mean come on guys the ladies are the ones that dress up and look good for us and I for one appreciate it when my lady dresses for me does it really put you out to look good for your lady.
Ive been saying the same thing for years , but unfortunately the standards seem to be de-grading.,, For the most part the evenings cool off pretty good, in from Oct to April , that I know of
The last time we were there it was pretty strict about the dress code for dinner. That's to bad that the are not enforcing it anymore. It doesn't take much to dress up a little for dinner, when else are you really going too. My thoughts are if you want to go casual then go to the buffet, you can always change into something lighter for pattyos after dinner.
We did see a guy who had to go change for wearing a sleeveless shirt into the Italian during our April/May trip. He did so willingly, and seemed more comfortable with the nicer shirt.
How many places are there to eat, and which ones require reservations? We aren't food people at all, so not hard to please, and don't really care for dressing up on vacation.
