hey guys, never been to TTR before and we are heading there the end of the month, we are planning on going to coco bongo with the resort crew and wondering do most of you bring cameras? will i have to worry about someone stealing it out of my pocket if i bring one, is it even worth bringing one, or should i just try and get great mental images as memories? i know, sounds stupid, and probably won't matter in the end, but we are going with friends and thought some pics might me nice, but not worth it if it seems too much of a hassle. thanks for your help! I find that I get pretty drunk, go figure. But if you want to taking a camera is ok. If you are nervous just like your wallet keep it in the front pocket where you can feel it and not on a belt clip case that someone could open. I have never had a problem with having my pocket picked but it never hurts to be careful.
well there was that one girl who took stuff out of my pocket then put it back in and repeated. She must have been practicing because she kept doing it faster and faster. Jokes on her though I my money was in the other pocket. Ah good times.
I took a camera and it did make it back with me (surprisingly). The pictures were not very good, though. It is dark in there so most images are streaks of lights or ribbons.
I got great pics in there last year. Depends on where your at but mental images don't do much when you want to show friends how amazing it is. I got a few camera and take my smallest one to put in pocket but just put it in a pocket just for camera so you don't try to take money out and it falls out. But yes so worth taking one. Get a clip that can go on belt like a key chain clip then tie a string long enough that you can use it normally so if it slips out it will swing and hit your leg and alert you. Get a floresant string and it will look fasionable while giving you some piece of mind Rob
as a person who likes to bring her camera but has left many behind, i would not risk it if i liked my camera.
We took our camera but it is a little one that fit in my husband's pocket. as for money he uses a money clip in his front pocket. I also don't carry a purse. Cogo Bongo's is pretty cool!! Have fun!

Havn't been to Coco Bongos yet but did go to The City last year with the resort and had a great time. Only advice I have is to take ear plugs...lol.. my ears were still ringing 3 days later :doh:
