The TTR website and a couple of others are showing the resort to be sold out for Dec 19 and 20. At Hedo or BGN, the week before Christmas is usually the slowest of the entire season Last Dec BGN was at less than 40%. Is this high occupancy normal for this time of year at TTR?
Expedia is showing rooms ,,,but @ 1045 per night, lol, ouch we have been warning on other threads that the prices are higher this year which is probably because of higher demand probably due to the high success of this sight,
I know quite a few of the Jamaican resorts would rent out the entire resort to a rock band (Hanson, Little Feat, etc) for several days at a time DIDn't know if it was the same at TTR. $1000+ a nite, !! DiDn't see that. Yep, just did. At that rate, I would hope there is a fully stocked Jacuzzi or something.
Looking at the prices,, we brits get a really good deal on our package deals . Two weeks at Temp's is cheaper than a trip to Spain , Canary Islands ,, for a week to us . And a lot hotter ...
It is shocking how good a deal you can get to Mexico, and TTR. It is one of the cheapest options to book all inclusive adult-only Cancun. Place is so great too. We were sceptical 1st trip because of price and worried it would be sub-standard. Unless prices shoot up I can't imagine holidaying anywhere else now!
It is less expensive for us to go to TTR for a week from Seattle than to fly and stay in Vegas for a few days, all things considered! It is even less expensive per night at TTR than for us to go to the local casino hotel and get a regular room - if we upgraded to a suite there at Tulalip we would be matching the cost of TTR and 2 round trip airline tickets in 5 days. Just can't beat the value!! Would cost us double to go to Hawaii for the same amount of time, and we would still have to pay for food and drinks ...
Keep checking everyday, something will come up for sure, it's all marketing like buying tickets for a concert. Check other sites too, though prices may not be the greatest. Its quite up there around that time
When we booked a couple of weeks ago, all of the travel sites showed plenty of rooms. They even had a two woman special. Suddenly everything is sold out, besides the most $$$ type of rooms (suites). Kind of normal after Christmas, but not before.
This site could be one reason. A bigger reason might be that the Temptations in cabo is a desire now. No other option but to go to cancun
