Hi! We generally vacation in Jamaica, but are considering Temptation for a change. Can anyone tell me how crowded things get there the week before Easter? I am wondering if Temptation attacts a lot of spring breakers from college or if the place just really fills up at that time of year. Any help on that appreciated! I have seen no mention of tennis courts or a tennis program at Temptation. No tennis? How tough would it generally be to get a chair at the quiet pool on the average day in late March? Are there plenty or is it tough to get chairs? How can we be sure we will get a room we will be happy with? Are there some we need to avoid, and can they be avoided without spending a lot more? Is it easy to get dinner reservations and the nicer places for dinner? (Not a big fan of buffets usually). Thanks very much! Roy
Roy: Here's my take on your questions...................... 1) We have never played tennis at TTR and pretty sure there isn't a tennis court on-site. 2) The end of March has very few spring breakers at that time (maybe none at all) --- other than a bunch of teachers wanting to cut loose.... and they do! 3) The resort will likely be full, but it is plenty large enough not to feel crowded and it's always easy to find chairs by the quiet pool. 4) The rooms that we have stayed in are very nice .... how much you like them will depend on the location and what you want. If you don't like noise at night, stay away from a room near Patty'Os. Otherwise when you get there, just ask to see the room they have assigned you before you accept it. 5) Getting dinner reservations is a bit of a hassle .... but worth the effort. Go there with an open mind, be ready to have fun, and you will have a great time. The resort, while not a 5 star, is very nice and the crowd is awesome. Perhaps we will see you, as we will be there the 19th - 29th. Tim & Laurie
