Boob Cruise ~ Booked Airport Transportation ~ Booked Theme Night attire ~ arriving daily in the mail bikini Tops ~ burned in the fire pit Room Crawl Items ~ purchased BUT.... since we purchased through a travel agent, how do I go about completing my check in at the hotel. Can you do it online? Gimme some advice on what steps we take for a smoother check in? Thanks in Advance
Temptation has a express check in and we have used it in the past, you just have to tell them at the desk so they don't make you fill it out all over. This can be done 15 days in advance of your arrival. The travel agent should of gotten a confirmation number from Tempation, I would ask them, we always did when booking through Orbitz or Expedia. I book through an agent, always have a confirmation email. Never have a problem at check in, unless a room isnt ‘ready’ yet. Check-in has always been a breeze.
Check in is no different than any other resort we have stayed in. Give them your name and reservation # they give you a map and try and set up a "tour". That's Spanish for time share sales pitch, (just say no I like self guided tours thanks). They say "your room will be ready in an hour but feel free to use the resort until then, we will watch you bags". You go eat lunch at the buffet, change into you swimsuit in the bathroom, go to the pool, get drunk, come back and check on your room 3 hours later. Saves time that way you only go back once and don't get annoyed . Move into your room. Easy as that.
Have never been more than 20 mins at check in anytime we have been there although last trip i did miss the guy that used to bring you beers to the desk... (.Y.)
We have done Express check in and didn't find it to be advantageous over just a regular check in. In 16 check ins, none have been slow. A couple of times we had to stand in line and have a drink, but once at the counter, it has always been quick. Yes, we have had to wait on a room a few times but when you arrive at 11am, that's to be expected.
