Hello! Does anyone knows what are the current requirements to enter Mexico? I am finding that there is a form that needs to be filled prior to boarding the plane in the US, but I can't find precise info. Also, any COVID test required to enter? Thanks
here are 2 websites we use when we visit TTR , hope it helps https://www.mexicotouristcard.com/ Instituto Nacional de Migración - Forma Migratoria Múltiple
1. Passport 2. the Mexican tourist card that tw1mempho posted (to enter Mexico at customs, not needed to board the plane to Mexico). Fill it out online before the flight and print a copy or fill out a paper copy on the plane. The website takes longer than just filling one out on the plane. 3. The immigration form as posted by tw1mempho, either on-line or at customs "3. All passengers, vaccinated and non-vaccinated of 18 years and older must complete the "Questionnaire for Identification of Risk Factors in Travelers" before arrival and departure to Mexico. The form or the QR code received after completing the online questionnaire must be presented to immigration upon arrival. The form is available here" (From Delta, on our last flight) We filled it out but no one ever asked for it (coming or going). This was in June, and seemed pointless, so I don't know if it is still being used. 4. Some airlines require a negative test to board. Your booking information should show the requirements. Be prepared to show your passport at least 52 times during the entire trip. We prepare a folder with all items, in a row. Including the USA Transfers voucher. Having just returned last week we can tell you the entry process into Mexico was no different than previous trips. Fill out the immigration form provided in flight, show passport, and done. I too was concerned, hearing rumblings of some health form that was required at the airport. This was actually for departure to leave Mexico. When checking in a the ticket counter, they confirm your negative covid test paperwork and there was a QR code which took you to a link with a health questionnaire. You must then fill it out prior to entering the security checkpoint. When completed it gives you a green or yellow (which means you've been randomly selected for additional health screening). You must show the result to the individual standing at the security entrance before proceeding. My wife was able to complete it on our walk between the ticket counter and security, and could include all members of your group on one survey. It was very easy, and was the only additional step since our last trip. Pretty sure this is the right link Vuela Seguro Safe travels!
