always been into the SKA scene here in the UK with bands like Madness, The Selecter etc... But only came across this amercian band Reel Big Fish about a week ago, but I gotta say I'm loving some of there stuff
We have some decent Ska over here, but over the last 5-10 years, the scene for it has really died out. Now its more of a specialty thing in small clubs.
I was suprised you guys over there were into SKA, seen an American SKA band support Madness here last December... Took me by suprise
Its definitely not big over here. But, being an old punker, I couldnt help but to see Ska shows once in a while. The Toasters are one of the longest running Ska bands over here. Still playing small shitty clubs though.
