Is there anywhere close to the resort to get some Red Bull? Or should we stop at Walmart or another grocery store to get some? We are taking a USA Transfer and have heard that they will stop at a store for you if requested. Does the resort have Diet Pepsi? Wife has a big time addiction and will need her fix.
You can get red bull at the resort at a price.. I think $5.00 US so you can more that likely get it cheaper at Walmart.. and they have diet coke at TTR and its called coke light and it not like our diet coke, there diet pop is more sweet than ours in canada..
I got my red bull across the street at the convient store and got a good deal on 4 much cheaper than 5 bucks a can on the resort...im gonna try to smuggle a few cans in each of our suitcases wrapped in towels and ziplocks... I NEED MY REDBULL too
Can't get Rockstars anywhere there and that totally sucks!! But, I brought a box of 5 hour energy to save weight in the checked bag and those worked just fine. The Red Bull is kind of expensive!!
No DP in Mexico. Coca Cola Lite is a pretty ordinary substitute for a DP addict like me. DP is one of the few things I actually miss when we are at TTR. The also have Coke Zero in the room fridge, which is a long way from being DP. BTW, DP means Diet Pepsi and not the normal scenes on channel 12.
Brewster has brought a few of his own sugar free rockstars before and I brought 6 baby cans of Diet coke.. just for when I had to have a fix and, security seached my bags in mexico even though I got the green light but they didnt take it so.. dont think its a problem.. :icon_wink:
I thought I had read in another thread you could bring the liquid drinks in your checked luggage, just not in your carry on. Is this not true?
If you booked with USA transfer there is a $30 extra fee to stop at Walmart on the way to the resort, they actually give you 1hr shopping time for that price.
