Hola, Wondering if there is a place to take glass for recycling in Cancun. We only get to drop glass off once a month here in Puerto Morelos and it's starting to pile up! (bottles etc) Next pick up isn't until the end of January. Need to recycle soon or slow down the emptying of said bottles. Thanks Rob
Same deal here, the last Saturday of each month at Suburbia parking lot at Gran Plaza. BUT a friend told me that down the side street to the left of Needful Things there is a place that takes plastic, aluminum and glass every day. I just could not find it on that street. Maybe the one to the right but I did not check it out. Speaking of Needful Things, Nancy has sold it to some new folks. I went in the other day with 4 books to exchange. They rejected them all saying that if they had one in stock the "new administration" would not accept in the 2 for 1 trade. Two were nearly new from the states and the other two I had bought in this store as they had the stamps in therm. If I had the time, I would have checked to see if they really had them in inventory. Nancy would not accept trades if they were damaged, missing pages, ripped, etc. OR if she had an oversupply. But with her, an oversupply was not just having a single book. I ended up buying just one book for $30. I am going to take back some more used books back to trade and will report back if the same thing happens. And I will check the shelves before I try for the trade. Stay tuned.
