To all the regulars on the forum... Do you ever find some people post on these threads 1. Are fraudulent and never even go to TTR, just post to get a rise out of people or 2. Are totally different in person at TTR, not the people they are in their posts? Just curious...
This will be our first time at TTR. Going May 21 thru 28. We are hoping we find the outgoing people that frequent this board. From all that we have read, it sounds like it is going to be agreat time! :lotsofmichaelfs:
We just found this site just before our 4th trip down. Although we haven't met anyone from this site, I really hope on our next trip we will. For the most part I would like to believe everyone is genuine. there are people we would love to meet and then there are others not so much. We just have to pick the right time to go.. it seems to me the people I would really like to meet go this time of year, we have always gone around Dec. Jan. Feb. Might re think it for next year..

T certainly thinks this to be the case - she thinks sometimes teenagers get on here to just do pranks as some of the post are so damn juvenile 2. yes terry - when we first started chatting on here in 2006 or 2007 (before we met) i thought he was just an old man who thought he knew how to have fun - boy was i wrong - he outlasts me every time - lol looking forward to seeing you guys next thursday rob
hey guys you will find most of the people on this forum to be really cool people. ive said this time and again and it is true. we have met some of our best friends and some other great people via this site. it does happen when you meet someone that does not "fit in" but that is a rare exception - .............. and from our experience, certainly not typical of the regulars on here
This is our first trip to TTR...............but we've been to similar places using similar boards or facebook groups or yahoo groups. The majority of the people that we encounter are genuine although we've found that people are more brave on the internet than they are in person, and many times, the ladies are not as wild as their stories would indicate. We've met great people at Hedo and other places that were just as they seemed on line.
That is really good to know and what I've seen I would like to believe that your right. Since I've been checking out this site, I've found that in some cases I have a different opinion than some others, but would still really like to meet them. Nothing better than a good discussion and laughs over beer or whatever. And what I've seen so far makes me want to go back even more. I want to believe that pretty much everyone on here is going there for a good time and to meet good people. :sunny:
i think it was last year there was one guy that came on the site and complained non stop about the resort i think just to get a rise out of us regulars.All in all most people on this site are definetley genuine.
Rob your spot on mate. We've met people that have been 'a bit full on' but that was mainly down to excitment. I'd say 99% of people at TTR are top top people. The other 1% just fade away
