Hi Folks, Firstly what an amazing forum filled with lots of great information. I am wondering whether you experts can help me out. Me and my 3 male friends are trying to select a good resort in Cancun. We have all never been to Cancun, but did travel to the DR a few years ago and found it to be OK. We were recommended Temptations by a travel agent. We are all 28 and are looking for a good combo of a party but also some sun and fun. We are not the kind of guys that are planning on harassing women, just want to meet a bunch of great people. We are not prudes, but certainly aren't looking for an orgy. We are looking to be down there during the last week of May. Does Temptatins meet our needs? If not, any other resorts you would recommend? Any Cancun bars or excursions you would recommend? Sounds like you have the right frame of mind, I'd go for it. Good to see you don't have the 'orgy' mentality either lol! It's a fun crowd and you'll ind people friendly as long as you stay the same.
Thanks Canadian Dos, also...Tempt. also advertises that they serve name brand booze (ie Smirnoff, Bacardi, Dos XX, etc.). Can anyone confirm this? Thanks, Mike
Definitely go if you are the fun party types. Not sure about the brands of alcohol as it usually gets mixed. I can tell you they are not the best.
yup, the beer on tap is Dos Equis, for the other two make sure you ask by brand. For example a dark bacardi and coke. Otherwise there is some pretty nasty house stuff they have. They also have smirnoff, so what at home would be the lower end name brands typically.
It sounds like you'd really enjoy it. It's a great place if you're open-minded and would like to meet people of all ages and socialize, and there's lots of sexy fun day and night. It's not a great place to find single women looking to hook up--I think about 80 percent of people there any given time are couples.
one thing thats important to remember is that if you meet girls off property at a club etc. you will NOT be allowed to bring them back to the hotel unless you pay for a night pass. last time i remember it was like $65-$75 could be more now.
....if you're not drunk and obnoxious! We heard the front desk clerk quoting $500 a night to drunk guys insisting they were going to bring so many girls back they'd need an extra room!
