Hi all. We booked our trip directly before my wife reminded me that I was on my mother's RCI membership. Is there any benefit to letting the resort know about the RCI membership if we're not Premier members? Thanks for the info.
Unfortunately Not... I tried that this year as well and they said as long as it was booked using other means that werent through RCI or Premier etc, there was nothing they could do, however they did give me the general room location that I wanted.. Cant hurt to ask or try though, ya never know Unless of course you can cancel your reservations and book through RCI
Thanks for the info. I figured not, but we will definitely ask as well. You'd think they would, it's like the best of both worlds for the resort--you paid for membership AND the room! I suppose that would mean more if they didn't charge more for a stay to the members (lol). If your're an RCI member but not Premier, do you still get Premier benefits at the resort if you book through RCI?
Yes you get the same things... when I called and then emailed them year, I was just concerned about the room location that I wanted, didnt really care about the upgraded menus and reservation perks , yacht ect... Just wanted my normal room for ease of access and they did what they could to put me in the same general section
We are RCI members and I thought it was odd that we had to use so many points plus pay a daily charge to go to TTR that we ended up just paying for the whole trip and not using RCI. I called twice about this and did it online as well.
