We have a reservation for first week of Dec but both reservations and flight tickets are fully cancellable. Keen to come but but weather forecast says rain/thunderstorm every day. Scattered showers in the pool are sort of ok but probably would cancel bash, I would guess ?

Anyone been at the resort during rain/thunderstorm ?

Rain in the forecast often means it’ll rain for a short time somewhere around Cancun at some time during the day, but you may not see a drop at all at the resort. Don’t stress too much about the forecast. If there is sustained rain they’ll usually just move the party into the Lobby Bar area.

If there is a brief shower, is the bash stage still usable after the shower or will it be closed due to being wet.

The staff usually will squeegee the elevated dance floor off after a little rain and the party continues. We've had a few rainstorms where everyone keeps on dancing and gets soaked, great fun (but that was in June, Dec might be too cold).
