The wife and I will be travelling to Temptations next Tuesday, Oct 21, 2014, and I just looked at the weather. The weather girl is predicting rain for 5 straight days. What to do while it is raining? Any suggestions?
I wouldn't be too concerned. It's a tropical environment and bound to get some rain almost every day. Just gauging by past trips, there will be a LOT more sunshine than rain. A few years ago, I was there for a bad weather day. Blowing wind and rain all day force all the outdoor activities to be cancelled and the pools closed. The entertainment staff moved everyone into the inside bars and played games all day. We made the best of it and it ended up being a very fun and memorable day.
You can move the party anywhere, its the people that make the party. The bars don't close. And we all like getting wet
We were just there and it rained one entire day. While most people were out of the pool, we were two of about 20 crazy people who stayed in most of the day. We had a blast! You KNOW we were CRAZY PHUCKERS to hang out there all day! It was one of my favorite days. Sure, I wish the sun shined every day but we know that can't happen. It's all about making the most of the weather you are dealt.
our last november trip it rained one whole day and that was it. we never left the pool either and it was one of the more memorable days there (giant inflatable toys, a concussion, nudity) what a great day!
I wouldn't worry too much. The weather forecasts are like ours here in the US, not very reliable. Also, this will be our 7th trip to Temptation, and what we have found is that it only rains for 3 days MAX if they're having a cold front come in. Other than that, no rain for DAYS! We're going the 24th through the 4th, and realize that this is the ending of their hurricane season. USUALLY very good weather!
