The defense motion to delay the start was denied last friday by Judge Gaughn. The potential Jurors then filled out questionnaires designed to speed up the picking process. Today the actual questioning will begin. 10 will be questioned in the morning session and 10 questioned in the evening session. I had originally planned on attending as much of the trial as possible and giving a first hand account of what happens, however, Judge Gaughn has instituted some CRAZY rules specifically for this trial and it would make it to burdensome for me to be there with the new rules in place. I tried following the rules when the Judge was doing the 1st Brown's Chicken Murder case and it presented way too many problems for me. The rules for this case are even more restrictive than that trial. http://www.chicagotribune.com/entertainment/chi-r-kelly-trial-jurors-may12,0,351061.story Michelle
