Very sad and shocked to hear that David Bowie has passed.
One of the Iconic All-time greats!
    So damned uniquely talented.

Seen The Thin White Duke live twice, and the first time (Station to Station tour) remains in my top 10 shows of all time.

Gonna b dusting off and waring out some LP's in the next few days.

*Two true musical pioneers gone in past 12 days...almost have worn out my Ace of Spades album over the last week.
    Miss ya Lemmy.

Yeah it's a pretty big bummer. But at least it wasn't a all of a sudden type thing. Glad that he was able to put together the last album and a put some goodbye type lyrics in there. This was a link I walked into this morning from Elyse (I hadn't heard yet).Video: David Bowie's last release, Lazarus, was 'parting gift' for fans in carefully planned finale - Telegraph

I just think back to all the amazing conversations and times I have had in my life where Bowie was providing the soundtrack. David Live at the Tower Philadelphia is one of my all-time favorite albums.

    One of my favorites:

Also, the Lemme was pretty big bummer too. Not going to like seeing all these rockers go.

Bowie was such a cool guy.....and his music was so unique.
It amazed me back in the day, at a house party or social setting and discrepancies arise about tunage.
Put on Bowie and no one would complain.
Bangers, New Wavers, Punks and Top 40 pop dance fans would all pipe down and everyone would be happy.

I never heard anyone bitch if Bowie was playin'
