Just so no one gets into the same pissed off state as me, the R-15 buses are now R-2 La Luna 95-96 buses. Not sure why anyone would pull this kind of mess, but the past week I would wait over 45 min for a R-15 bus to come. Then in the mornings it dawned on me I was getting onto a new R-2 route. The print La Luna is so small and hard to read in the dark. So there is your new bus update!!!
They had to go and confuse it. The old R-2 line is the same, making a right onto Kabah and then going to parts unknown to me. They made the R-15's R-2's as well, so you MUST read the front of the buses. Some at the very top it says 95-96 then below R-2 on the window it says La Luna. I need to know why they did this. So unnecessary!!!!!
My car was in the hospital and I took an R-2 the other day, expecting it to make a right on Kabah. It did not so I jumped off at Soriana and walked home. The next day I did the same thing but looked on the window. It said Paseos Kabah, Otoch so I was good with that one. So, did I get on the 95-96 R-2? Does that mean it goes to Reg 95 and 95? If so, why would they confuse passengers? Why not have a unique bus # for each route? It's not like they have used up all the numbers. It is messed up that this R-15 deal angered my good friend, but these multiple R-2 routes make no sense. Am I getting it?
You are 100% Teej. And for over a week I while they were phasing out the R-15's , I was getting home from work after midnight. eating 45 for a bus that was never coming. I would LOVE to hear the brainiacs thought process behind combining bus routes that go to different areas entirely.
Come on Tori get yourself a car! It has to be a pain relying on buses all the time, especially working way out in the HZ. Last bus I took was in 2009 I think. BTW mine will be for sale in a few weeks
Steve, PM me the specifics of what your selling please. I have been all talk for about a year now. First it was a moped, but those are too dangerous with these nuts on the rd.
Definitely don't get a moped Tori. Far too dangerous here imho - esp if doing the HZ run. You either need a car where other people bounce off you or one cheap enough where you can stay safe in case of an accident but not going to break the bank if it ends up totalled. I'll send you a PM with the specifics, will post here once we are ready to sell. Waiting on Jannet to get walking again (2 more weeks hopefully) before we buy our next.
