So my wife and I are booking our 2nd trip to Temptations, we had SUCH a blast the first time around we're arranging to bring 2 couples with us this time. The one mistake we made last time was the room. It was not only right beside the outdoor club (which was awesome...except when we were tired) but practically right behind the stage for the band, so the nights we needed recovery we were blasted by music shaking the walls of the room. We've heard of people being able to book rooms in the quiet area, which sounds perfect. The problem is we book with an "all inclusive" charter so when we buy the package it just says "7 days, all inclusive, deluxe room" and gives us no choice of room location. When others have booked like this what's the protocol for upgrading to a room on the quiet pool? I do not care if it costs extra, it's worth it. Would I book with my charter company THEN call Temptations and ask to have it moved to a quiet room? Or do I show up when I show up and ask them if I can move to a quiet room? Just because I'm booking with a tour company I don't entirely know when my info is transferred to the hotel itself. I hope that made sense, any help will be appreciated! :cheerleaders:
We booked a jacuzzi room for our trip because they are all on the ground floor around the quiet pool.
Email the resort, and request what you want. The rooms above the Jaccuzzi rooms are also at a premium.$$ there are also quiet rooms on the opposite end of the resort, near the old Cigar lounge.
Hey we're from PEI! Don't bother with your travel company. You can do the express check in on TTR websie 15 days prior to arrival. At that point you can add special requests for rooms. Alhtough it is not guaranteed. This will be our 5th time and we always ask for section 4000 or 5000. It is not by the quiet pool but it is on the far opposite side of the resort and we have never had problem with noise. I NEED my sleep!
Great answers thanks everyone who's answered so far. I will book our trip and then try e-mailing the resort, if they don't want to organise my rooms THAT far ahead (we won't be going till Jan 24th) we may wait till we're closer to the date or use the express check in options (this works when booking with a charter\vacation company I assume). Now I just need to wait until January, agh it's too far away. PS great info on the cigar lounge area\4000-5000 rooms, my wife sounds like she wants a jacuzzi room so I will try and book one of those (best to e-mail I assume) but my friends will most likely want quiet rooms in the 4000-5000.
we always fire off a email..plus are agent requests the area we prefure.. we like to be near the party so its ground floor( dont do well on stairs after a nite/day of boozin)near patyO... been twice b4 its always worked for us...others i have heard just request a quiet room... cheers have fun 7 more sleeps....
I'm the same. I fall over completely sober so when drunk its a bit of a Russian Roulette! Try to keep out of trouble by wearing sensible shoes, but will also try again at TTR get a ground floor room!
Hey everyone, So we're having problems getting ahold of the resort. I've filled out the form located here: Temptation Resorts 3 times and when I submit I get either a 404 File Not Found error or a blank page with no error at all. I gave up and tried calling the resort at the listed phone number (1-877-485-8367) and I get a recording saying the "number cannot be completed as dialed, please hang up and try your call again". What's going on?
Your calling the toll free number for the USA folks silly Temptation Cancun – Temptation Resort Spa Cancun - Temptation Resort Cancun Or if you'd like I can give you Omar's cell number lol
