Is it cheaper to book the basic room and then upgrade once you get to Temptation? The upgrade prices seem pretty high through the various travel sites I have been on.. Thoughts?
you know..I think they put you in what ever room is avalable anyways.. dont they? we went to TTR cabo last November, paid for a regular room and when we got there the only available room was a hottub room.. they said they might move us the next day but they never did.. and if you dont like your room they try to accomadate you. so I say.. book the basic room and have a look at it when you get there.. if its not what you want ask about the upgrades at that point..
About the only upgrade are the Jacuzzi rooms @ 53 more give or take, and the ocean view,and Ocean view Jacuzzi room . If you want a quiet room get the Jacuzzi room, if available.
I would book the cheapest for now and see what room they put you in. Last year we didn't like our room and they were happy to move us to another room. Even though it wasn't technically an upgrade, in our opinion it was so I guess it depends on what kind of room you would like and the location, etc.
All of the rooms are OK, none great. Purchase the lowest price room, I've been there 12 times -- they have ALWAYS moved me if I asked. If you are going for the reason most of us go (the party) you will spend little time in the room.
We've booked the cheapest room every time we have gone, and the last 3 times have had an ocean view room over the sexy pool!
I just booked the basic room. In the "message for the hotel" area I just asked for a room by the quiet pool. Last year we had a jacuzzi room by the quiet pool and it was great to just jump over the balcony and grab a drink 15 feet away...
