Does having a room in the Tower allows you to order « members » plates on the restaurants menus ? Considering Tower for October...
I do not believe so. Premium members get black wrist bands no matter the room. Non members get other colors depending on Tower Room type. Hopefully someone lse will chime in. What I can tell you is that there are only a hand full of Premier meals to choose from at each restaurant and they are not all that much different or better than most anything else on the menu.
As above, black bands only. Tower guests that are not members or on a referral get a blue band and the extra menu options wont be available.
No alcohol changes for tower room bash, lush and even master. However, when we were penthouse we could get whatever we wanted.
Simply put, a blue band (due to staying in the tower) gets you access to the roof (which does have an upgraded lunch menu). But booze and premium menu items at other places are not included with the blue band.
We stayed in the Oceanfront Master Suite, got a red wrist band, were told (1) we could order anything we wanted off the menu, (2) butler service with towels by the pool, (3) premium booze at the bar, and (4) had access to the roof. BUT, we couldn't hang out at the premium bar. Beware, if you book a Oceanfront Master Suite, at check-in the "premier member" TTR hawks will start to circle and try to get you in the premium membership talk. When you book that level of room, they know you are willing to spend money (aka "prequalified"). In our case, they told us our room wasn't ready at check-in, but that Suzy Q (name withheld), would talk with us about the hotel until such a time as it was. Suzy Q was nice and we wanted to be hospitable. So, my wife and I sat for the presentation. At the beginning of the presentation, we told them we weren't interested. And, that the only reason we were sitting for it was that we negotiated a free massage in exchange. Now, even though we told them that, we still were walked through the process which resulted in a 90 minute chunk of time and 3 guys that still tried to 'close' us on a deal. Afterward, we booked our massage but realized that the massage took less time (55 minutes) than the sales presentation (90 minutes). Advice: Book the Oceanfront Master Suite and decline the sales presentation. They are very nice folks that are trying to earn a living. But, there are ways to hack the system and still get the benefits.
