So myself and few of my buddies are thinking about going to Cancun (spring break 2014) for a stag. I know it's really early to figure it out, but there is about 10 of us trying to coordinate schedules, sooooo we usually have to nail it down really early or it tends not to happen.

Anyways, as you can see via the title, I got a few questions that I was hoping some of you Spring Break Vets could help out with:

    1. Is Cancun "Spring Break" a good place for a stag? We normally do vegas, but we're looking to change it up.
    2. What tends to be the best week of "Spring Break"? Early, mid or late March?
    3. Our group would be about 26-27 year olds. Still okay age wise or too old? We all party hard and act like we're about 19.
    4. Is Oasis the best party hotel? Is it too far from the big clubs?
    5. How early do you usually have to book rooms, flights, etc? August? November? January?

Anyways, thanks for the help. I appreciate it.

I completely understand what you mean with having to book early or it dosnt happen. My mates are the same, pain in the arse. (Not as bad as over a year but guessing you guys have more responsibilities you need to plan around in comparison to a bunch of 21 year olds.)

Either way : Answers , Answers , Answers.

1.Yes. It's a complete different experience but you'll have a blast. If somebody was to offer me my stag in Cancun.....I would defiantly take it!

2.Others may think other wise but from my experience Early - mid march your best dates. Late March is still busy but i found that come the end of March the average age dropped a bit to around 18ish. As early on it would be say 23ish.

3.I intend to go to spring break until I'm at least 30 so you'll be fine ha.

4.Its he busiest and wont be short on atmosphere. I cant imagine you not having a good time there. N its a bus/taxi ride away from the clubs. Taxis are dirt cheap and the bus even more so which are really frequent.

    5. I cant comment on this I'm afraid as i book in England where it might be different.

    1. Is Cancun "Spring Break" a good place for a stag? We normally do vegas, but we're looking to change it up.

YES!!! The vibe is different than Vegas. Vegas can get REALLY expensive. Cancun has all-inclusive options at the resorts and "the clubs". The people are from ALL OVER the world, which makes it that much more fun.

    2. What tends to be the best week of "Spring Break"? Early, mid or late March?

Mid-March to late-March is probably the best time. US Spring Break and Semana Santa for Mexico are the most packed.

    3. Our group would be about 26-27 year olds. Still okay age wise or too old?

If you have problems talking to women, that's too old. Heck, 19 would be too old for that. But if you can have the ladies bouncing on your shoulders and hopping in cabs with you back to the hotel, 26-27 is aaalllll good.

We all party hard and act like we're about 19.

It's Cancun. If you're about having fun, who gives a sh*t how old you act as long as you do it with taste.

    4. Is Oasis the best party hotel? Is it too far from the big clubs?

Oasis is pretty much the daytime party central during Spring Break. It is kinda far from the clubs. There's NO way you want to walk from the club zone to Oasis. Cab ride or the bus is the only feasible way.

    5. How early do you usually have to book rooms, flights, etc? August? November? January?

Here's the deal. The later you wait, the more chance you have of running into hotels being sold out and your having to settle for something you really didn't want. Also, the longer you wait, the higher the airfare gets. People are booking NOW.
