Been a while since I have been on Yacxchilan ave. When did El Chikito close? And anyone tried a new place I saw, Dag Dag, which seems to have authentic british fish and chips by the signs? When did it open?
I live behind pericos and have never paid attention to Dag Dag, but will soon and try it and post something here... Chikito closed around a year ago, they changed location first and now they changed the name too...
I talked fo Jesus who ownwd chikito earlier today. ran into him in soriana. he said he sold chikito a few months ago because of his health and since then that person has sold to another. As for Dag Dag, he said they have a fairly varied menu, including kosher foods, and he has tried the falafal and humus and his wife as the fish and chips. He said its been open for about 3 months. Im gonna give it a try too. Thanks for your response!
if dag dag is the kosher fish and chips place, i ate there a couple weeks ago. it was good fish and chips but cost 230 pesos. owners were great and very friendly.
Thats a bit pricey for fish and chips to me. But I guess I will give it a try. Thanks for the response.
